Janie is an exhibiting artist and art therapist who owns The Village Art Shop, where she also runs workshops. She is part of Wairarapa's MainARTery open studio route.

Jenny has studied art for many years and has diplomas in Art and Craft, and Te Reo Maori, along with a MBVA in Maori, a BA Visual Art, and a Certificate in Te Whakauruora.
